The 2010 Kentucky Law Enforcement Torch Run T-Shirt is now available. This year's design is a dramatic change from anything the Torch Run has done in the past. The front of the shirt shows a police shield icon that has the individual department patches from 13 Police Departments, Sheriff's Offices or other Law Enforcement Agencies from throughout the state. Volunteers from each Agency listed on the front have committed to selling a minimum of 100 shirts per Agency at a cost of $10 per shirt.

The back of the T-Shirt, as it has in the past list the names of all of the Torch Run Agencies who received a Torch Award in the last Torch Run year (June 2008-May 2009 on this year's shirt). The Torch Award is presented to any department raising a minimum of $2,500 as an Agency for Special Olympics.

All money raised from T-Shirt sales goes to help fund Special Olympics programs in the state. And all sales count toward 2010 Torch Awards for your Agency.

To purchase individual shirts, contact a Torch Run representative at any of the Agencies on the front of the shirt, or contact your local law enforcement agencies to see if they have shirts available.
